Inclusivity
We represent the diverse voices of Minnesotans, with a focus on underrepresented Somali communities and all marginalized populations.
-
Embracing cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity across all communities.
Minnesota is home to people from many backgrounds. We believe in political representation and leadership that reflects our mosaic—the rich array of culture, language, and identity that is part of our shared future. Inclusivity starts with accepting the voices often left unheard or ignored.
-
Creating space for underrepresented groups in political dialogue and decision-making
Many communities in Minnesota have historically been excluded from the political process. Our goal is to actively create these voices at the table, and ensure they are heard, respected, and empowered. True democracy requires full public participation—not just from the majority, but from everyone.
-
Promoting equitable access to opportunities, resources, and services
Every Minnesotan deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstance. We support policies to remove systemic barriers in health, education, housing, and employment. Inclusivity means leveling the playing field.
-
Listening to and uplifting voices from all walks of life, especially those historically marginalized
Real change begins when we listen. We are committed to understanding the stories of those who have been overlooked or silenced in past policies. By amplifying their stories and needs, we move toward a more compassionate and inclusive Minnesota.
